If you see a red X icon on the volume icon in the system tray, you cannot use the audio device. Although the audio device is not disabled, users still see this error when running the audio troubleshooter . The computer will indicate "High Definition Audio Device is installed" (High-quality audio device is being installed) but when hovering over the icon, you will see "No audio output device is installed" (No head device Audio output is installed). This is a very strange problem and users cannot use any kind of audio service due to this error.
